It is with great honor that I can assure you, they ran, they supported, and they loved every minute of it. Our 14th Annual 5k Race was a huge success this year! As a ministry we are very thankful for the City of Greenville that allowed us to race in person with some minor tweaks to keep our runners and volunteers safe!
On a nice cool morning we celebrated 14 years of what the Lord has done through Hope of Glory Ministries with a fun and challenging course for the runner, walker, and exercise fanatic alike! A special thanks to CrossFit Greenville for their sixth year of partnership! Thank you to Fleet Feet for donation of top overall prizes!
On race day, we had 143 registered participants between the 5K Run, Cross Training 5K, and Walk, along with about 33 volunteers to help man the course!
We had 25 financial gifts and 7 in-kind donations! After all expenses, we were able to net about $15,000.00 in funds raised, and close to $6,000.00 in in-kind gift value.
We are so grateful for the continuous support of our sponsors who give towards our annual fundraiser yearly. From new to recurring sponsors, these partnerships with us help to transform lives for the gospel right here in Pitt County. A special thanks to Opendoor Church for being the main sponsor of our race this year!
The Lord is Faithful even in the midst of a storm!
As a ministry we have seen the Lord’s faithfulness since before March 13th, the day Covid broke national news, with outpouring support from donors and the community. From customers and donors in the Community Outlet, to Race sponsors, Empowerment Sponsors, toiletry donations, and monthly donors, we could not operate without you!
The Lord has covered this ministry in prayer since the beginning, and we, as a team continue to move forward to do the work the Lord has placed upon our hearts. We are so grateful to continue that labor through the generosity of our faithful donors and supporters!
Thankful to continue this legacy,

Executive Director
Cat started as an intern with Hope of Glory Ministries in 2015, and with the Lord’s guidance she transitioned to Executive Director in 2020. She strives to continue to see families lives be changed and empowered through the Co-op Program and outreach events. This ministry continues to make heart and habit changes right here in Pitt County, empowering families to reach financial health through biblical wisdom. Leading a nonprofit was once a young college girls dream, turned reality five years later. The Lord has called us to be use His word to transform lives, “therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing then in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit” (Matthew 28:19).
