Word From Our Founders
Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Where do I begin? In April 1995 I surrendered my life to Jesus. He met me right where I was-living according to a secular world view, bound by sin, struggling in my marriage, self-centered, pursuing earthly gain only. My soul was lost. Thank God for giving us Jesus! He saved my soul, sealed me with His Holy Spirit, set me on the Rock and began transforming me daily into Christ-likeness through the power of His Word and His Spirit.
The Lord gave me an immediate yearning for His Word in my life. I had read Hebrews 4:12 and knew the word of God was “living and active”, but I sought the Lord to make it come alive in me and activate me to live a godly life to His glory.
During the year 1997 I knew the Lord was calling me to minister His Word through teaching and preaching. I was laughing at this but was also running to a degree. But in obedience to the Lord, I began to share my testimony and short devotions in smaller group settings. I really began studying God’s Word more deeply and saw the Lord preparing me as His vessel. Soon the doors began to open to teach a Sunday School class, as well as preach in various churches. I tell people all the time there is no greater honor and privilege than to share the Good News of Jesus Christ.
I do not share all this with you to lift up myself, but to exalt Jesus Christ as Lord of Lords and King of Kings. I share to testify to His unconditional love, grace, mercy, forgiveness, patience and the living hope we have in Jesus. We don’t have to remain the same. He delights in transforming us more like Himself. He is all powerful, all knowing and always present. And out of my passion for Jesus, He has birthed Hope of Glory Ministries, Inc.
My vision is to come alongside our community of believers, the church, and the lost, to minister the Word of God and the life changing power of Jesus Christ. I want to share with all who will hear, that God wants to commune with us daily. I want to share not about religions, but about a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
We hope that you will prayerfully consider supporting our ministry, as it will take financial resources to fulfill this mission. You have my word that I will never beg for money, as I believe in the power of prayer and that where God guides He also provides. I also hope that you will call this ministry yours.
We are not a church! We are not looking for members! We are Christians seeking to come alongside the church and to pray for and experience unity in the Body of Christ in our community!
We invite you to join our mission. To our God be ALL the Glory!
Love in Christ,
Clark & Lisa Stallings
