The staff at Hope of Glory Ministries would like to than you supporting us in our 11th Annual Good Samaritan 5K and Greenville’s Annual Cross Training 5k, in partnership with CrossFit Greenville. Your participation was a blessing to our staff and the many families we serve.
It was a misty morning as we celebrated 11 years of what the Lord has done through Hope of Glory Ministries with a fun and challenging course for the runner, walker, and exercise fanatic alike! A special thanks to CrossFit Greenville for their third year of partnership!
On race day, we had over 120 participants between the 5K Run, Cross Training 5K, and Walk, along with about 75 volunteers to help man the course!
We had over 25 financial givers and 40 in-kind gifts! After all expenses, we were able to net about $12,300 in funds raised, and close to $12,900 of value in in-kind gifts. We hope you enjoyed your moisture wicking t-shirt and race bag of goodies valued at over $50.00!
Take time to view the pictures online at here. We are uploading more today and tomorrow, so check back towards the end of the week for cross training pictures.
Lastly, a special thanks to all of our sponsors, volunteers, and participants for teaming with us to relieve burdens, empower families, and proclaim Christ throughout Pitt County!
From all of us here at HOGM, THANK YOU!
For those who did not make it Saturday, please plan to pick up your race packets by 4pm Saturday. We are open M-F 9am-5pm and Saturday 10am-4pm. If you do not pick up your packet we will redistribute your tshirt and items to volunteers and other contributors.
We are eager to keep our race unique and different, so any suggestions you have please email me and share!
Thank you again for being a part of this special event and our yearly fundraiser. Thanksgiving and Christmas are coming up, so please visit our website for updates and opportunities to serve/give.
You can check out race results from the event here.
Blessings to you all!
