Healthy Help Food Pantry

The purpose of Healthy Help is to better serve and enrich our clients by collecting food that yields a greater nutritional value, ministering to the whole person and equipping them to honor God with their bodies. Will you join Hope of Glory in this initiative and drop off healthier food items? Would your workplace, church, civic organization or small group consider holding a food drive?

Assistance Resources

Our in-house Resource Center is open five days a week to those who are seeking financial stability due to limited or no income, or in a crisis situation. We work families through our Community Food Co-op Program which offers food cost savings, mentor encouragement, educational classes, and accountability.  Our vision is to see families self-sufficient and financially stable without the need for government or charity assistance.

To set up an appointment for assistance, please contact Tony at (252) 215-9042.

…friendly staff helped me to become a better person by allowing me to help others. I started to grow deeper with my personal relationship with God.

Our Resource Center receives donated items Monday – Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm.   We collect clothes, furniture, kitchen resources (dishes, utensils, small appliances), washers/dryers, refrigerators, & non-perishable food items. If you have an item you wish to donate that does not fall in one of these categories, please call beforehand. Thank you very much for your willingness to help others!

In 2014 we assisted 2,647 families which represent 8,959 people. Our estimated poundage of food distributed is at 70,490 pounds! This is only made possible by God’s grace and over 400 donors who contribute financially and tangibly throughout the year! It is our firm belief that God’s Word and the love of Christ is being spread through the development of relationships with individuals, families and agencies who utilize this Center.

Not only do we provide food, clothing, and household items for them, but most importantly, we share the good news of Jesus Christ and minister to and pray with everyone that comes in. We are witnessing people, on a monthly basis, who commit their lives to God through saving faith in His son Jesus Christ. To God be all the glory!
